Micaela was born in Dallas, Texas and moved to Omaha, Nebraska when she was three. She began acting classes at age seven, and landed her first lead role in a local production of "Magnus Fourpenny" at age thirteen. As well as acting, she was involved in dance. In 2003 she received the title of "Nebraska's Cheerleader of the Year".
During the Spring of her Senior high school year, Micaela auditioned for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and won a place on the squad. During her two years as a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, she cheered on the sidelines of Texas Stadium at every home game and made many appearances all over the United States as a member of their renowned Show Group. Over the Christmas Holiday of her rookie season, Micaela went on her first USO Tour and celebrated her 19th birthday while flying over Seoul, Korea on New Years Eve! In March 2005, she was one of twelve women selected to entertain our military across the European continent.
