Courtney is from Fairbanks, Alaska and a past Miss Fairbanks Native Association 2001 Miss World Eskimo-Indian Olympics 2001 and was crowned Miss Alaska USA 2008 on Dec. 8, 2007 in Anchorage, AK. Courtney is currently invovled in Rotoract, Native Alaska Business Leaders, Model UN Alliance, and the Spokesperson for the Under 40 group that meets with State Representatives. She is also part of the Leadership program through UAF and will be going to El Salvador to help with Hunger and Homelessness. In the past she has worked with Breast Cancer Detection Center and Fairbanks Counseling and Adoption. She is currently a Political Science student at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
