Brittany is a junior student body vice president at Milwaukie High School. She was involved with competitive ice skating for nine years, and although she no longer competes, she is still involved in coaching the sport. She would like to attend Portland State University and Oregon Health Sciences University, so she “can stay local, close to my family and close to an ice rink.”
Ultimately she plans to go to medical school and become a pediatric anesthesiologist, because she loves working with children.
Last year she volunteered at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, working with youngsters on art projects and reading to them, to “keep their minds off their treatments.”
