18 year old Caitlin Klug proudly comes from Eau Claire Michigan. She is self-described as extremely energetic and creative. Caitlin stands 5'4" and has dark brown eyes and dark brown hair. She is the daughter of Kirt and Christine Klug, and has 3 brothers and 1 sister.
Caitlin is a high honor student at Lake Michigan Catholic High School where she is active in tennis, volleyball, cheerleading, soccer, Liturgical club, Pep club, Key club, Prom committee and is a member of the Student Counsel as Secretary for her Senior class. She is a member of the National Honor society and has received the Scholar Athlete Award. Caitlin also attends the Professional Health Careers Academy where she was proudly one of two students from her high school who were accepted.
She is a member of 4-H and the Teen Service Club and is currently a Youth Advisor for the Berrien County 4-H Foundation. Caitlin owns and shows her own llamas and her family farm is also home to more llamas, ponies, sheep, rabbits, ducks, geese, chickens, doves, dogs, cats, fish, a horse, a parrot and a guinea pig all of which she also helps care for. Caitlin's plan for the future is to pursue a career as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, specializing in orthopedics and exotic animals.
Caitlin has enjoyed working with mentally and physically disabled athletes through the Michigan Special Olympics. She is also committed to and speaks with other young people about Teen Social Acceptance and feels that everyone should be on the same level, be accepted by their peers and have a feeling of self-worth. Adding to her already busy lifestyle, Caitlin is looking forward to representing Michigan at the Miss Teen USA pageant.
