Katie McNiff is 17 years old and lives in Groton. She is currently in her senior year at Cushing Academy in Ashburnham, Massachusetts. Katie is actively involved in many clubs and extracurricular activities, including Student Senate and Diversity Club. She is the Captain of her Varsity Track and Cross-Country teams and has been a solid contender in the 800 meter and long jump.
Katie has enjoyed representing the young generations of Massachusetts, and has been active in several campaigns, raising awareness for drug and alcohol abuse prevention as well as promoting youngsters to commit to living a healthy lifestyle. Many of the charitable organizations she has worked with are American Heart and Stroke Association, DARE, Toys for Tots and the United Way.
In her free time, Katie thoroughly enjoys spending time with her family, shopping with her friends and being in Maine with her grandparents.
Katie will attend Bentley College in the fall of 2007, to study Business.
