Logan Brook Travis is the fifteen year old daughter of Tommy and Vicki Travis. She has an eleven year old brother, Rhett Dewayne Travis, a dog named Hudson and a cat named MeMe.
As a freshman, she attends Oak Forest Academy located in Amite. Oak Forest Academy has a student body averaging about 500. Being the captain of the OFA Junior Varsity Jackettes, she stays very active in school and also is the first baseman during fast pitch softball season.
Logan has taken dance for the past 13 years. Being a student of Missy Zeno’s Acclaimed School of Dance, she became a member of the halftime entertainment for the women LSU basketball and had the honor of being a Geaux-Geaux Girl for the LSU Tigers. She has danced competitively on a local and state level and is presently at Lemoines Academy School of Dance in Hammond, Louisiana.
Logan has sung on local, state and national levels. Having the advantage to have taken voice from Mr. Bob Westbrook from Memphis, Tennessee has definitely been a plus for her. Being a member of the Geaux-Geaux Girls, she had the honor of singing in the Pete Maverick Center at an LSU Basketball game during half time entertainment. While learning from Bob for many years, she also had the honor to participate in the Liberty Bowl in Memphis, Tennessee. Along with Mr. Bob’s choir and students, they entertained 50,000 people with the celebrities ‘Sybil Shepherd’ and ‘Three Dog Night’ where ESPN captured her singing and dancing.
