Miss Teen USA interview:
What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
Imagine climbing up a 50ft rock just to jump off it into the ocean and do it over and over again. My family took a vacation with some family friends to Hawaii, we were staying about 10 minutes away from Kauai Beach (The same beach famous surfer Bethany Hamilton had her arm bitten off by a shark). We all decided we wanted to spend the day at the beach, so we drove the 10 minutes to the beach that is when we saw people climbing this 50ft rock and jumping off into the ocean as if it were a diving board. That is when we decided that was what we wanted to spend our day doing, climbing a 50ft rock and jumping off. It was by far the most adventurous, craziest and most exhilarating thing I have ever done! I’m always up for a new adventure!!

I have many talents, but I believe my extroverted personality, sports ability, and musical ability to be my strongest.
Name one person, family, friend, celebrity, who has had the most influence on your life.
Helen Keller She was blind and deaf, but that didn’t stop her from accomplishing her goals. She gives me the reassurance that no matter how tough the situation is just stick with it and you will succeed.
Describe how you envision yourself in five years?
Envisioning myself in 5 years is like road trip across the country. You never know exactly where you’ll end up, but you know where you would like they trip to end. In 5 years I would like to end up with a successful interior design business and be ready to start a family.
What else do you want the judges to know about you?
I've become the person I want to be. A girl with goals, who is not afraid to do anything to accomplish those goals. I am real, zealous, affable, extroverted and optimistic. I am proud to be able to have found my "true" self at such a young age. |
