I am terrified, and I mean terrified of roller coasters. This summer my friends somehow convinced me to go to Six Flags in Denver. After some major talking into, I actually rode every roller coaster one time, sitting in the very front seat. For me, this was pretty crazy, but looking back on it definitely worth it!

What are your strongest talents?
I am a great communicator. Whether that means speaking one-on-one to my peers or to a large group of adults, I am very good at expressing myself and holding an audience. I am also a talented vocalist; I am very comfortable getting on stage and singing my heart out!
Name one person, family, friend, celebrity, who has had the most influence on your life.
Fernanda Contreras Cruz My Grandmother was truly one of my best friends. She was extremely accomplished, loving and unique. She was the first Mexican Woman to be a curriculum consultant in her community of San Bernardino County, Ca. My grandmother acted during her teenage years and was in many plays in Padgua Hills. She was one of the main reasons I chose to start acting... she always said that I was such a "ham". She passed in February of this Year, but she was so proud of my title and she always told me, " You will win because of your heart".
Describe how you envision yourself in five years?
In five years I see myself with a B.A. in journalism. I see myself on the set of E! News announcing to my audience that Miss USA will be telecast live this weekend! I hope to be stable in my career and who knows maybe even wearing an engagement ring!
What else do you want the judges to know about you?
I want them to know that I get it... I know that being Miss Teen USA is a job and its one that I'm ready to take on. I have the skills, knowledge, drive, personality and most importantly the heart required to be an amazing Miss Teen USA.
